About this meeting
This series covers at least 7 types of ADD which leads us to conclude that there is not a “one-size-fits-all” solution. Rather, solutions are a very personal and unique matter. Let’s explore together. Sessions are about 75 minutes consisting of education & information followed by a time of sharing and support. Disclaimer: The contents of this series are for informational, educational, and supportive purposes only. Because we do not participate in this series as credentialed professions, nothing in this series, including content and discussions, is intended to be a substitute for professional psychological, psychiatric or medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For the common good: we understand that Attention Deficit Disorder is a national health issue that continues to grow—yet it remains one of the most misunderstood and incorrectly treated mental health conditions today. Our exploration in this series is less about the origins and causes of ADD, and more about what and how we can navigate our lives with ADD. Many people with ADD are quite intelligent, creative, spontaneous, fun and successful. Many people with untreated ADD, those without the benefit of learning skills, techniques, and management tools, can have alarming consequences associated with: School problems. Low self-esteem, depression, job failures, incidences involving legal troubles, obesity, and other preventable health conditions.

About the host
Hey there. I'm Ted. I'm grateful to have had so many wonderful people come across my path as I explored and discovered my journey of recovery and wellness. Now I help others navigate their personal journey. For me, finding a balanced life in an unbalanced world is important. That is what I focus on a lot. Mine hasn't always been truly balanced, but it's an ongoing journey. I walk alongside others on their path while exploring and discovering better options and opportunities toward recovery and wellness. I am a combat veteran having served in the Gulf War. My passion drives me to help guide others to a better life--professionally, personally, family, marriage, faith/spiritually, financially, health and wellness. My credentials include WRAP, OOLA Coach, DISC, Spiritual Gifts Coach, Leadership Speaker & Trainer. You can learn more about my Journey of Recovery here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUKhMJyupa8
Motivation for help
An anonymous speaker at an event one day, said, "Life doesn't have to be that way." Those seven words have stuck with me over the decades. They have been one consistent source of motivation for me and others.
