About this meeting
A support meeting for those impacted by Huntington's Disease, who live within the Rocky Mountain Region. The Rocky Mountain Chapter is centered in Colorado but supports individuals and families across the region including Wyoming and Montana. If located in a nearby neighboring state that does not have an HDSA support group listed please feel free to join our community. We are here to support, listen, provide guidance, and engage in navigating the difficulties of living with and caring for those with Huntington's Disease. The meeting is open to at-risk individuals, gene positive individuals, symptomatic individuals, caregivers, family members, and other support systems. Video capability is required and we request that all participants utilize video during group times.

About the host
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working in various fields of Social Work since 2007. I have a background working within medical settings, with at-risk teens in residential facility settings, and within Hospice and Home Health Care. I currently work as a Social Worker for the Huntington's Disease Society of America and also have a private practice licensed in Idaho. I have led a variety of groups of all ages and particularly have interest in grief and loss, adjustment, chronic disease, and coping support. I believe in the power of shared experience and helping others make connections that speak to the truth that you are not alone and there are others who can identify with similar feelings and experiences you have.
