About this meeting
NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who is living with a mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences, build understanding and awareness, and connect with others. The groups are led by trained leaders with lived experience.. Meetings are 90 minutes long. This group meets on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month.

Through education, support and advocacy we strive to eliminate the pervasive stigma of mental illnesses, affect positive changes in the mental health system, and increase the public and professional understanding of mental illnesses.

NAMI Minnesota offers many support groups for adults living with mental illnesses and their families. Our free support groups are led by trained volunteers with lived experience. Support groups provide a welcoming, respectful, and safe space to build awareness and understanding while learning from and connecting with others.  The two main populations we serve are adults living with mental illnesses and adults with loved ones who are living with mental illnesses.
