Today was a really good group and I look forward to having more meetings like this where there’s ample time for people to share their challenges and triumphs. It’s groups like today’s where several participants have an opportunity to share the various experiences and perspectives that makes for a really meaningful discussion

Poor leadership. Uses phone makes it hard to see raised hands. He is very flat and does not relate will to real issues in the group. Improvement should be made.

Today’s meeting felt very unproductive and definitely wasn’t inspiring

Gloria thé co host was very rude and demeaning to me. Instead of approaching me in a polite manor to ensure I kept my feedback to the group short for others to speak she rudely used an angry tone. Yet never bothered to cut anyone else off so weirdly and disrespectful when other people were rambling and taking up shared talking space.

Gary is welcoming and supportive. Gloria took me into a break out room and provided excellent support and info on my issue.

I left this meeting several times; only to return with the same participant rambling off topic as if this were social hour. This is extremely disrespectful and dismissive of everyone else in the room who expects support

Share the air is the rule, and it's unfair to other members of the group when that's not reinforced by group leaders

The facilitator really needs to work on time management, because it's never okay for one person to dominate group time when there are others who haven't even checked in. Everyone deserves the opportunity to be acknowledged and validated for simply showing up to the space. I hope no one left feeling dismissed or ignored because the group leader failed to enforce the "share the air" rule

Project Return Peer Support Network

PRPSN offers peer-to-peer support to help individuals reach their personal goals, such as living independently, going to school, getting a job, having friends and enjoying life in the community, and advancing in their recovery. Each group is individualized and self-directed. Activities and curricula are created by the facilitators and group participants. While some groups direct conversations on specific recovery-based discussions, others focus on physical wellness and its connection to mental wellness, building socialization skills, and the exploration of varying coping methods ranging from arts and music to writing and much, much more!
