Our Council
MPAC is a peer-run advocacy council for individuals, family, allies and supporters of recovery. Collectively, we advocate on local, state and national level to support actionable efforts and policies for prevention, substance misuse, harm reduction, mental health, behavioral-health, criminal justice, health disparities and recovery.
MPAC Advocacy & Leadership Program
In additon to the council, MPAC Advocacy & Leadership Program provides a cohesive peer recvoery support training program for individals who are interested in advocacy, community organzing, leadership and peer recovery coaching support education and training. Participants engage in cohort style learning and receive training, supervision, naviagtion & techinical support toward Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specilaist Certification.
