Wellness in the Woods brings the vast experiences of 40 staff members who identify as having a life experience with mental health challenges. Staff are located across Minnesota and represent diverse communities and credentials. Minnesota's certified peer specialist two week training is required for staff to provide virtual peer support. Wellness Recovery Action Plan facilitators are trained through the Copeland Center for Recovery. All staff are required to complete cultural training, ethics training and ongoing peer skills training during their employment with WITW
