Accepting New Connections
Hi! My name is Tylar and I have depression and anxiety. I am here to listen, support, and encourage. You have a friend. You are NOT alone. We are in this together.
Willing to help others find local resources
I am a St. Louis Native. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Science and Disorders. I a mother of 1 and enjoy spending lots of time with family and friends. Some of my hobbies are crocheting, binge-watching TV shows, and learning new things. I am passionate about any education after high school, pushing through transitions, mental health, and supporting people on their own journeys similar to these.
For years, I've dealt with depression and anxiety and soon began using drugs to cope. My road to recovery was hard, and there were a lot of valleys and starting over again. I learned to give myself grace while also holding myself accountable. During my recovery, I learned that growth doesn't have to big, it just needs to be consistent, and that 1 good person that is in your corner, is better than 5 people that are not.
My Motivation To Help
For years, I dealt with my depression and anxiety in silence. No one knew. It was hard to open up and allow people to help me. It took me a while, to be honest with myself and to understand what I really need. I want to help people understand what their needs and passions are. Those are the things that can help you push forward when you are in those dark and lonely spaces.
