Biography

Hi y'all! My name is Marissa :) I'm living life in Missouri these days. I find myself either at work or spending lots of time cuddling with my dog, Barkley. I have worked in the mental health field for 4 years and have been a peer support specialist for most of that time. I have lived experience with mental health struggles, eating disorders, and I specialize in substance use disorders. I have been in all levels of treatment from inpatient to outpatient. My favorite modality is DBT.

My Recovery Story

I'm human and I still struggle at times. I do my best to use my skills and seek help when needed. I continue my outpatient therapy and follow up with a psychiatrist regularly.

After many years of being in and out of treatment I would like to give back to my homies that need the support from someone who "gets it".
