Being self-aware of my thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and beliefs is foundational to understanding myself, to keep track of my growth, and to ensure they are in alignment with my values. Self-awareness reveals areas that I need to grow in and keeps me accountable.
Biography
Hello! I am an Irish transplant from Philly to WNY. Although, I do miss cheesesteaks, hoagies, and family, I love living in rural NY with my husband & our children! We are a blended family with 12 children, 9 of which I have given birth to. The 2 youngest are a set of twins, whom I affectionately refer to as 'the grand finale'. I have lived experience, for the majority of my life, with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). As an adult, I survived domestic violence, which resulted in the development of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Gratefully, I have been on my recovery journey since 2005. Becoming a recovery guide became a goal of mine in 2010, and I was certified as a NY Peer Support Specialist in 2020. Loyal & trustworthy Empathetic, patient & a good listener Curious, intelligent, & a lifelong learner Resourceful & creative
