Rebeca Moran
Certified Peer Supporter

Hello :3 I know life can be challenging sometimes. I am here for you!
Biography
Howdy y'all! I'm Beca. I'm so happy that you're here with me today! Believe me, I know how it feels like to not want to be. I also know how it feels like to be diagnosed with a label, not know what it means, and to not know what to do next. Life can be difficult...especially without a support system. Let me support you! Areas of expertise: Bipolar, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, Anxiety, Trauma (specifically SA, domestic violence, generational, and first-responder related), Boundaries, Coping Skills, Setting Goals, Relationships (and navigating breakups), Finding Resources, Navigating the Mental Health System, Communication, Anger Management, Relaxation & Stress Management, Wellness & Wellness Planning, Self-Care, Budgeting (and couponing), College Life When I am not on here, I work as a peer support specialist for a university, I help teach resident doctors about trauma-informed care and recovery, and support other peeps throughout their recovery journey. On my off time, you can usually find me at the beach, studying for exams, or spending time with my doggos. I try to take my own advice as much as possible and use the same tools that I might share with you during groups or sessions (believe me I'm trying to do the same thing). I'm also very open to feedback and suggestions (especially FOOD, music, and show recommendations)...if something doesn't work for you, that's okay, we will work together to find something that does :) I have a degree in social work, currently pursuing my bachelor's in psychology, and have the hopes to become a psychiatrist or psychologist one day. My availability is as follows M-F: 12:00 PM CST, 6:00-9:00 PM CST Saturday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm Sunday: Available upon request
