About Liam Wolf, chw, cps

I am a trans man, queer, a Certified Peer Support Specialist and a Certified Community Health Worker. I am also WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) certified. I am here to provide support and resources for folks like me. My passions include helping others with the following: supporting LGBTQ+ domestic violence survivors, navigating healthcare systems, finding LGBTQ+ friendly providers, providing health education, applying for government benefits, and navigating affordable housing programs. I have previously worked as an HIV Prevention Resource Specialist, a Certified Peer Support Specialist for disabled folks, and have experience in the medical field as an EMT-B. I also have experience in group facilitation and facilitate a peer support group for LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic violence. I am currently a college student and hoping to someday run my own non-profit. I am thriving with several mental health conditions including C-PTSD, BPD, generalized anxiety, and ADHD.

My Recovery Story

I am engaged in talk therapy on a weekly basis, practice DBT skills daily, and take medication for my conditions. I live alone with a cute cat and receive affordable housing help.

My Motivation To Help

After living through numerous traumatic experiences, I decided I wanted to be the person to sit with others in their darkest moments to show them the light.
