Recovery on Your Own Terms
MentorshipDefine recovery for yourself and rebuild without judgment or a one-size-fits-all approach.
My recovery from opioid addiction began in 2015 after I left narcotic pain treatment and became my own advocate. I understand recovery is personal and doesn't follow one straight path. I support you as you explore what recovery means to you, recognize your strengths, and build a life that feels like your own.

About The Host
Hi, I’m Zoe. I’m a California Certified Peer Support Specialist and Certified Professional Recovery Life Coach. My work is rooted in lived experience, compassion, and the belief that none of us should walk through healing alone. I support people navigating recovery, identity exploration, life transitions, religious deconstruction, grief, trauma recovery, and rebuilding after starting over. I have a special heart for the LGBTQ+ community, especially people affirming their identity later in life, coming out after religious environments, or learning how to live more authentically after spending years trying to be who they were expected to be. As a peer, I don’t position myself above you. I walk alongside you. My approach is human, grounded, and empowering. I believe deeply in self-determination, dignity, and helping people reconnect with their own voice, choices, and inner authority. I’m also a multimedia and intuitive artist and a mother of three. Creativity, spirituality without dogma, and personal transformation are woven into the way I hold space and connect with others. My lineage is Ventureño-Barbareño Chumash Mission Indian from California. My connection to ancestry, resilience, creativity, and community also shapes how I understand healing and the importance of being seen as a whole person. Whether you’re in recovery, exploring your identity, rebuilding after loss, starting over, or simply feeling stuck somewhere in your life, you deserve support that sees the whole of you.
