About this meeting
Do you have a topic that makes your brain light up?
Perfect. Bring it.
This is a silly, low-pressure hangout for neurodivergent people to infodump about the thing they know way too much about and finally have an audience that actually wants to hear it.
Bring a PowerPoint, Canva slides, pictures, notes, an object to show off, or absolutely nothing except your enthusiasm. Your topic can be useful, useless, extremely specific, deeply nerdy, mildly unhinged, or impossible to explain in under ten minutes.
Sharks? A band nobody else knows? Medieval plumbing? Pokémon lore? Train routes? Psychology? Mushrooms? One specific episode of a show from 2007? Excellent.
The only real requirement is that you care about it.
The meeting is scheduled for 2 hours so there is plenty of room for everyone who wants to share, but we may finish earlier depending on attendance and how much people want to present. There is no pressure to stay for the full two hours either. Feel free to come late, leave early, step away for a bit, or pop in just to hear a few presentations.
You do not have to sound polished, make eye contact, stay perfectly on topic, or pretend your interest is “important enough” to share. Tangents are welcome. Excitement is encouraged. Questions should be curious and kind.
You are also totally welcome to come just to listen, discover new rabbit holes, and watch other people get excited about their favorite things.
This is not a competition. There are no grades, no winners, and no “normal” way to present.
Come talk too much about the thing.
For once, that is literally the assignment.
About the host
My name is Cassian, and I am a Certified Peer Specialist with lived experience navigating complex mental health challenges and building a life that feels stable, meaningful, and worth living.
A major focus of my peer-support work is helping people who live with Cluster B disorders or traits, especially BPD attachment patterns, favorite-person dynamics, fear of abandonment, splitting, emotional intensity, and relationship instability. I understand how these experiences can affect your sense of safety, identity, and connection with others. I believe in accountability without shame and in helping people recognize harmful patterns without reducing themselves to those patterns.
I am also especially interested in supporting people with OCD, including harm OCD and pedophilia-themed OCD. I understand how frightening, isolating, and shame-filled taboo intrusive thoughts can be, particularly when people confuse unwanted thoughts with intent or character. My goal is to offer a nonjudgmental space where people can talk honestly about their experiences without being treated as dangerous or immoral.
I also have lived experience with chronic illness, disability, LGBTQIA+ identity, and polyamorous or ethically non-monogamous relationships. I identify as a queer, pansexual trans man. Psychology is one of my special interests, so I bring both personal experience and extensive self-education to my work while remaining clear that peer support is not therapy or diagnosis.
I am passionate, direct, and compassionate. I want people to feel understood without being enabled, supported without being controlled, and reminded that healing does not require becoming perfect.
Motivation for help
I spent years feeling alone, misunderstood, and unheard. The people around me often could not relate, while professionals sometimes treated me like they knew my mind better than I did. That made an already difficult life even harder. Now that I have built a life that feels stable, meaningful, and worth living, I want to be the kind of support I needed then: someone who listens, respects your lived experience, and helps you move toward the life that matters to you.
