About this meeting
A safe and supportive space for anyone navigating anxiety, panic attacks, PPPD, dizziness, or the frustrating connection between them. You don’t have to explain or justify what you’re experiencing—we’re here to listen, share, and support one another.
During our meetings, we can talk about:
What anxiety and panic can feel like physically and emotionally
PPPD and how dizziness can affect everyday life
The connection between anxiety, dizziness, and feeling off-balance
Coping strategies that have helped us manage symptoms
Grounding and calming techniques
Fear of symptoms and the cycle of anxiety and avoidance
Challenges with leaving the house, driving, working, or socializing
Setbacks, progress, and the ups and downs of recovery
Feeling misunderstood by others
Encouragement, hope, and reminders that you’re not alone
There is no pressure to speak or share. Come as you are, listen if you need to, and know that this is a judgment-free space where we can learn from each other and remind one another that we may feel unsteady, but we don’t have to face it alone.
About the host
My name is Brandi. I am a certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist and have an Associate Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. One of my favorite activities is family game night. I consider myself a lifelong learner who is always eager to expand my knowledge and learn new things.
Motivation for help
My motivation to be a peer supporter comes from my own experiences and the support I received along the way. I want to use what I have learned to encourage others, remind them that they are not alone, and help them see that recovery and growth are possible. I truly value connection and the ability to make a positive difference in someone's life. Everyone deserves to feel heard, supported, and hopeful.
