About this meeting
PMDD Support Group | PMS & Severe Premenstrual Symptoms Support (2nd &4th Tuesdays) Are you searching for a PMDD support group that truly understands the emotional intensity of cyclical mood changes? Do you experience: * PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder)
 * Severe PMS
 * Luteal phase depression
 * Hormonal rage or irritability
 * Anxiety before your period
 * Insomnia before menstruation
 * Monthly mood crashes that impact relationships or work
 You are not alone. This weekly online PMDD & PMS peer support group for women is a confidential space to talk openly about the emotional and psychological impact of menstrual cycle–related mood disorders. If you are looking for my Perimenopause, Menopause Support Group, we now meet on 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month. (Know you are welcome any week if you need a hormonal support group :) What Makes This PMDD Support Group Different? This is peer-led support — not medical advice. As a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CMPSS) who lives with PMDD, I understand: * The “two different people” feeling across the cycle
 * The luteal phase personality shift
 * The shame after rage
 * The relationship strain
 * The exhaustion of starting over every month
 Here, we talk about the real impact of hormonal mood disorders. What To Expect in Meetings: * Gentle check-ins
 * Naming triggers & patterns
 * PMDD symptom tracking discussion
 * Coping tools that are actually realistic
 * Celebrating small wins
 * Sharing what has (and hasn’t) helped — including lifestyle changes Whether you are newly diagnosed with PMDD or just realizing your PMS may be more severe than typical, you are welcome here. This meeting typically runs on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 4:30 PM PT / 6:30 PM CT / 7:30 PM ET This group is for women who personally experience hormonal mood symptoms. Not for observers or professional training. If your cycle feels like it hijacks your life every month, come sit with us. You don’t have to navigate this alone anymore.

About the host
I’m a certified peer support specialist and coach living in Southern California, I host support groups meetings on HeyPeers and also work one-on-one helping support peers with BFRB recovery and recovery from other compulsive behaviors, habits and unhelpful thoughts.  I identify as a neurodivergent woman and mother with ADHD, PMDD, and sensory differences. Since 2020 I’ve been in recovery from skin picking disorder (also known as dermatillomania and excoriation disorder). I’ve since learned that this compulsive habit is called BFRB - Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors. I believe in the power of community and have been attending various types of support groups since 2017. In my free time I like to craft with yarn and spend time outdoors hiking while looking for pretty rocks.
Motivation for help
After 4 years of successful recovery I knew I had enough recovery experience to be a helpful support for others struggling with compulsive habits. I decided to completed the training and testing to get my peer support certification, so I can be a productive helper from a place of lived experience. I’ve embraced my sensory needs and learned tools and strategies to stay recovered, and I love holding space for others to find their own healing and recovery. I’m inspired to share my message of hope for the possibility of a better future by facilitating groups and holding space for one-on-one support, as well as offering encouragement and accountability.
