About Ashleigh

Hi there! I’m Ashleigh Smith, a dedicated peer specialist and mental health advocate with a deep passion for holding space for others. My work isn’t just a job, it’s a calling shaped by my own lived experience navigating anxiety, PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, grief and loss, sleep and neurological disorders, and infertility. I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming these challenges can be, and that’s why I approach every interaction with empathy, curiosity, and zero judgment. Alongside my personal journey, I’ve supported many loved ones through substance use challenges, which has given me a meaningful perspective on resilience, healing, and the importance of meeting people exactly where they are. I believe deeply in the power of connection and in showing up as my full, imperfect, wholehearted self. Whether I’m supporting someone in crisis, mentoring peers, or advocating for stronger mental health resources, my goal is always to create a space where people feel heard, valued, and never alone. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me soaking in the beauty of Colorado, getting lost in a good movie, or spending time with the people who matter most to me. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands and will stand beside you through the hard moments, I’d be honored to be that person for you.

My Recovery Story

Today, I live such a "rich" life. Rich being defined by me. Yes, I have seasons of hard times- we all do! I find relief in knowing I can navigate them easier with a full tool box!

My Motivation To Help

I have lost many people in my life due to mental health circumstances or substance use challenges. I'm motivated to inspire hope! I know how isolating mental health challenges can be and I hope to lessen that feeling.
