About Earl

I have lived with depression, BiPolar II, and am in currently in recovery from substance abuse and addiction. I have been sober over 10 years. I have done extensive work in multiple 12-Step programs to process childhood family system trauma. I have also worked full time in an inpatient dual diagnosis rehab facility, where I started and led a successful process group for the clients.

My Recovery Story

I am married for over 20 years, and am a parent to two daughters. My recovery today takes work, but it's worth it. I take my prescribed medication consistently, attend meetings and step study groups, and have surrounded myself with a community I can reach out to. I do morning writing and meditation, along with regular vigorous exercise.

My Motivation To Help

I have found that helping others is healing, as it gives me a sense of purpose. Working with others has been rewarding and satisfying. I want to help.
