My Recovery Story
Eight years ago, I was incarcerated, grieving deeply—navigating trauma, child loss, infertility, and the weight of addiction. I rose through faith, connection, and purpose. Recovery gave me my voice. I now have a village that holds me up, and a spiritual home that grounds me. Today, I live with purpose, healing, and hope. I am living proof that healing is possible. From incarceration, trauma, and loss to purpose, peace, and service. My journey has shaped me into who I am today. Being a Peer Specialist is my way of giving back the love and support that saved me. "I am so sorry I was registered and MISSED the call. I was in a 3p dr appt that went until 4 and took a quick 1-2 min break then got distracted and forgot until 7p 😭. Is there a chatroom or more meetings on this coming up? Thank you so much."
