About Antonia
Hello! I've been a Peer Support Specialist for about three years now and, wowee, has it changed my life. A few of my favorite things are cooking, gardening, reading, hiking, and music. I love spending time with my family and snuggling up with my dogs and cats.
My Recovery Story
Recovery for me has been a bumpy road but I've learned many things along the way. I'm still doing the work and growing all the time. Even when things get tough and life becomes overwhelming, I know I'm making progress. I never thought I'd reach the point of where I am now and boy, am I grateful.
My Motivation To Help
Finding out that my lived experience could support people and help transform me as a human has been greatest eye opener in my life. No longer do I hold onto shame and regret for what I've done and seen. Maybe we can reach that point for you as you are not alone. Being a human is hard and wrought with challenges. Let's face those challenges together.
