About Kristy

I am a CPRS specializing in family support My experience comes as a care giver supporting an individual with severe mental illness. Through my experiences, I realized that I never wanted anyone to feel alone like I once did. This led me to discovering ways that I could give back to others traveling on journeys they never asked to be on.

My Recovery Story

I am a support person for my adult daughter who suffered a psychotic break in 2021. In my journey through grief and then healing, I discovered hope in discussing my story with peers that could relate to my journey. Speaking up brought healing, relating to others brought hope, and in community we find support!

My Motivation To Help

If you are anything like me, you know that often times mental health struggles lead to feelings of isolation and helplessness. As caregivers and family members, when we share and relate, we find hope! If I can help anyone in not feeling alone while providing a listening ear, then my purpose here is worthwhile!
