About Katherina
Hello, my name is Kat. I am currently working as a Peer Recovery and Family Specialist and Team Lead for Solari. At Solari we take all the peer call for the state of Colorado. I also have experience with Walk-in Clinic fae to face support, and mobile crisis support, as a peer. I am excited to explore this avenue to continue my work in peer support.
My Recovery Story
I am in recovery many, many thing. I used to look at that word in relation to substance use only, and I was very closed off to other meanings. I am sober 26 years. Peer support has allowed me to also be in recovery in other ways, from other experiences. I credit the support from peers for that growth! I have my voice back and use it to share and support others now!
My Motivation To Help
When I was younger, paths to my own recovery and support were prevented. Being able to be in a position of support for others is a full circle moment! I believe in peer support so much because of the growth and recovery that it has allowed me to have in my life. I live differently now and love connecting with others who are finding their own path in recovery and in finding support along the way!
