Hi, I'm a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (Tennessee 2767 & California MPSS-BXZANF) and trauma-informed Recovery Coach supporting people navigating healing from trauma, SUD recovery, mental health challenges, and life transitions with compassion, autonomy, and practical, strengths-based support. I know what it's like to feel lonely, isolated, and not know where to begin to try to heal. I support you making choices that you feel are best for you and exploring who you want to be.
My Recovery Story
I didn't think I could recover. I showed up anyway and my life looks nothing like it did all those years ago. I get to work with people doing what I love. I've seen so many of my dreams come true despite the struggles I've had in the past. I will not act like life is always great because it's not but I have consistently found the tools I need to continue to recover and be the person I want to be. I would not trade who I am for who I was even on my worst day although I have a deep respect and love for the person I had to be in order to survive.
My Motivation To Help
My own experiences with trauma and addiction from very early on in my life planted a seed to help people to not suffer as I have when trying to deal with the fallout of things that were beyond my control. I have empathy and this is one way I can serve people in a meaningful way.
