About Sarah

I am a CPSP, for the state of Indiana but my qualifications started at birth. I am a multiple survivor and raised in a 12-Step recovery program since age 6 . I discovered the components that were attributing to my Re-traumatization and my inability to sustain my recovery. After decades of pain and being recycled within mental health facilities and some correctional I found a way to finally be free. I am here to tell you that I'm alive, and grateful. I'm confident that I can help many navigate their pathway to recovery, peace, and healing. Its a process but I promise you it will be worth it for you and me. I am supportive of the neurodiverse population. I love all people. Join me to discover all the great things that lie ahead for us. I will be offering a barrage of different meeting platforms for you to join. I am certified as a SMART Recovery facilitator and I chair ACA which explores the Trauma model. I am a Positive Psychology Affiliate. I plan to facilitate some of these great research proven contents. I am well acquainted at being resourceful. I will never force you to stay but I'll miss you. I will direct you to other resources and/or providers upon request. I very excited to be on board and can't wait to meet you all.

My Recovery Story

I have 8 1/2 years of sobriety. I recovered through the 12-Step program that I was raised in originally. Because, my anonymity was violated before my first year of recovery, I chose to explore religion to support my recovery. Today, Im working in the field and being educated by my peers. Yes, just because I have sustained my recovery it doesn't mean im the top expert or superior to anyone. My heart always meets everyone where their at , regardless of where they are on their recovery journey. I am an older mother of two beautiful children and I have a Maine Coon who is my emotional support cat. I am currently, building a greenhouse and prep mudroom. I want to educate my children on business, sustainability, helping the community, serving our country, and God. I love working out in the water and spend my time in Lake Michigan when the season permits. I write poetry and hope to publish my books one day. I love listening to all types of music, having a pajama day with chocolate and my favorite movies and children.

My Motivation To Help

Through my pain and horrific experiences, I long to help prevent other from enduring the same. Sometimes, it takes pain, mistakes, chronic relapse, divorce, unemployment, tragedy, betrayal, financial loss ect to see the right way we need to live for ourselves. We can all survive, grow, heal, and to experience life as we deserve. Noone is wrong in my opinion for poor choices, mistakes, relapse, incarceration, or anything specific that may cause self-harm. I do not judge people by their pasts alone nor do I judge anyone by anything specific that is not considered a norm or of our societal standard.
