About this meeting
Join us as we discuss recovery in building one another up. Walking through the road of recovery together, as we encourage one another and make genuine connections. As we use the tools of recovery and we use our daily trivialities knowing that we are not alone helping each other grow. Each meeting will touch on a different topic, such as depression, loneliness, companionship, empathy and working through it together with a little help from your friends. Keeping a journal and writing is recommended but not required.

Never should any leader discuss trauma in a group. They are not certified and can do more damage than good.

My Misophonia has really intensified, and it's been incredibly difficult being fully supported whenever attendees aren't practicing Zoom etiquette, non-speakers are unmuted, or "preventable" triggering sounds are coming through the airways. Nevertheless, Moses has supported me from the first day I explained my struggles with the various auditory challenges that accompany virtual spaces without EVER making me feel like my pain and suffering were any less significant than any other participant's and I'm so grateful for that level of compassion and support. This is one space where I can enter without feeling unsafe or being attacked for advocating for myself. Thanks Moses for ensuring an equitable opportunity to heal, and establishing safety for everyone in the group <3

Project Return Peer Support Network

PRPSN offers peer-to-peer support to help individuals reach their personal goals, such as living independently, going to school, getting a job, having friends and enjoying life in the community, and advancing in their recovery. Each group is individualized and self-directed. Activities and curricula are created by the facilitators and group participants. While some groups direct conversations on specific recovery-based discussions, others focus on physical wellness and its connection to mental wellness, building socialization skills, and the exploration of varying coping methods ranging from arts and music to writing and much, much more!
