This group helped me understand myself better and i am very grateful for the meeting and Kevin and the other people in the group. I learned about myself through their work as well.

This spoken word session was important to me. I was able to express my thoughts and emotions and also listen to creative expressions of others. I learned through my own writing about coping skills i can use and also from listening to others. I was very inspired by what others shared and appreciated greatly the safe space that the facilitator created for us in the group. I will attend again

It's always a pleasure attending Kevin's poetry groups, I highly recommend this group for anyone seeking safety in a welcoming, non-judgemental and healthy space, because Kevin leads with those principals in mind for ALL members of his groups. I really enjoy this group because Kevin has always made sure his groups are welcoming, inclusive, and incredibly supportive! This is truly a safe space for everyone. Thank you Kevin for leading by example with genuine kindness and encouragement

I think Kevin is a great facilitator because he encourages us to think philosophically about life. The timed prompts and the opportunity to share our writing openly is a great self-esteem boost. It makes you know that at least once a week you will be heard and understood in the language of your heart. And that's important because many of us feel unheard outside of these groups. I also appreciate the lighter tone. Thanks again for having these groups.

Kevin never fails to make space for participants to share their gifts. Gifts that transform personal recovery stories into inspiration that enables others to extend support, learn and grow are exactly what I walk away with after attending his groups

Project Return Peer Support Network
PRPSN offers peer-to-peer support to help individuals reach their personal goals, such as living independently, going to school, getting a job, having friends and enjoying life in the community, and advancing in their recovery. Each group is individualized and self-directed. Activities and curricula are created by the facilitators and group participants. While some groups direct conversations on specific recovery-based discussions, others focus on physical wellness and its connection to mental wellness, building socialization skills, and the exploration of varying coping methods ranging from arts and music to writing and much, much more!
