About the host
Little bit about me!! My name is Tierra. I am a certified peer specialist. I love helping others and sharing about my journey through life. I have a passion for wanting to help others heal. Having a safe place that allows for others to be able to talk about their life journey. To give me knowledge on life and ideas of how I can overcome my past, present, and even future. I myself have dealt with trauma, sexaul abuse, mental illnesses and health issues. One thing about me is that my group two groups I focus on is self-care, self love and healing. The other group is focus on heavy and light topic. Also, about me is that when I have to cancel a group due to family emergency or the emergence is myself, I feel as if I let my peers down and I try my best to come to my group even if I may be in pain. I love these groups and others group that help me get through the day.

Project Return Peer Support Network

PRPSN offers peer-to-peer support to help individuals reach their personal goals, such as living independently, going to school, getting a job, having friends and enjoying life in the community, and advancing in their recovery. Each group is individualized and self-directed. Activities and curricula are created by the facilitators and group participants. While some groups direct conversations on specific recovery-based discussions, others focus on physical wellness and its connection to mental wellness, building socialization skills, and the exploration of varying coping methods ranging from arts and music to writing and much, much more!
