I am an Certified Peer Support Specialist with lived experience in, and recovery from, substance use and/or mental health challenges. I help people who are struggling. As a Peer Support Specialist I walk with you at your pace and support you in the ways you want to be supported. I believe that you are the expert on your own recovery and are to be treated like it! I believe in making a Choice to take a Chance on yourself for whatever Change you need, want in your journey around your life. My journey has been 20 plus years. I renew my NCCPSS every 2 years. I have a story to share but i want to listen to yours first. I'm here to Support you, Listen and do what i can to support those who want a life the have always had, just didn't know how to accomplish that task. Its hard work to go for change. Motivation for help
Motivation For Help for yourself can be extremely hard. It was for me. The let downs, the uncomfortable feelings of shame, guilt, or not knowing exactly what to do. I would like to extend a hand to support you with motivation. Practice Makes Progress Not Perfection. Motivation is climbing the most Challenging Mountain having time of support, selfcare, skills, learning, growing along the way, and coming to the top of the mountain the person you Grew to be. Confidence, Beliefs, Understanding, Education, Self-Love.

I appreciate you having a free session. With that being said, it wasn't for me. People who come in anonymous for a reason. I wasn't interested in talking yet, you called on me twice. My name was literally anon.
The people being childish in the chat about talking with out clicking the raise hand button was annoying.
Waiting 15 minutes to start after the start time is also a waste of time in my opinion. If it starts at 5, start at 5 or at the latest 5:05
I left after whatever the meditation thing was because I didn't get anything out of it nor did I want to be put on the spot again. No coping skills; nothing. Not seeing the point of the session.

This was a great way to spend a Sunday evening, and the members who attended were exactly the right ones for the discussion that unfolded tonight. Firefly is a wonderful facilitator; practicing vulnerability, encouragement, engagement, honesty, authenticity and understanding-in real time. Her groups have been the best I’ve experienced on this platform.
