About this meeting
This online support group is a dedicated space for Black women to explore and discuss mental health, emotional resilience, and culturally relevant self-care strategies. We aim to create a supportive, affirming, and accountable environment where members can share experiences, offer support, and develop practical tools for personal well-being. Our focus areas include understanding mental health basics, addressing common mental health challenges in the Black community, and breaking through the stigma and barriers to seeking help. Together, we’ll learn techniques to build emotional resilience and explore the importance of therapy, counseling, and culturally relevant mental health resources.

About the host
I have worked as a Certified Peer Supporter for over 12 years. I have broken the chains of addiction, serious mental illness, suicide attempts, lack of self-confidence and self-worth! The trauma from our families, institutions, and relationships can hold us back from living the lives we want instead of accepting whatever is handed to us. WE hold the power and it lives in our stories - our journey! Join me on this journey of mindfulness and authenticity!
Motivation for help
I have a strong desire to help people find their purpose and achieve their dreams. I understand the importance of giving space to work through trauma and suicidal thoughts.
