About this meeting
TRIGGER WARNING: During this group, we may be discussing assault/abuse events and dealing with intimate partner violence that may be disturbing, even traumatizing, to some members. If you ever feel the need to exit the group during one of these discussions, either for a short time or for the rest of the group, you may do so. PLEASE PRACTICE SELF-CARE. She has found her own light amid the trauma that life presented. She has become tenacious as she strives to be her own individual. She is not forgotten neither is she left over. She is and she matters.

Ben was missed in today's SI group, but Carlo and Gloria did their usual excellent job facilitating a powerful and intense meeting.

Today's women's group meeting was one of the best yet — and that's saying something, because Gloria always takes us above and beyond!

Gloria does an amazing job leading the SI group! Having Ben & Carlo cohosting makes this one of the safest supportive spaces on this platform, and I’m so grateful to have the three of them working together to help navigate the discussions in such a loving manner🥰

This group is the backbone of my week, and Gloria is the greatest. I'm very upset, however, that today's group was delayed from starting for nearly 40 minutes! Very disregulating.

Gloria's women's group is one of a kind on this platform and any platform. Because of the unfiltered topics and open discussions, the group has loyal weekly attendees who value, and count on, two hours of intense conversation. Today's group began 40 minutes late because of a staff meeting. While we understand that these things happen, and staff meetings are at times needed last-minute, at the very least, the Meetings page should have reflected that our group would begin 45 minutes behind its regularly scheduled time. Additionally, arrangements should have been made to keep the room open for a full two hours, as expected, rather than an announcement during check-ins that our time today was limited.

Project Return Peer Support Network

PRPSN offers peer-to-peer support to help individuals reach their personal goals, such as living independently, going to school, getting a job, having friends and enjoying life in the community, and advancing in their recovery. Each group is individualized and self-directed. Activities and curricula are created by the facilitators and group participants. While some groups direct conversations on specific recovery-based discussions, others focus on physical wellness and its connection to mental wellness, building socialization skills, and the exploration of varying coping methods ranging from arts and music to writing and much, much more!
