TRIGGER WARNING: During this group, we may be discussing assault/abuse events and dealing with intimate partner violence that may be disturbing, even traumatizing, to some members. If you ever feel the need to exit the group during one of these discussions, either for a short time or for the rest of the group, you may do so. PLEASE PRACTICE SELF-CARE. A women's support group to welcome healing after abuse. A safe space to speak without judgement or breaking the silence. Give and get support as we navigate through the challenges of trauma.

About the host
Hello, my name is Jessica. I have been facilitating groups with Project return peer support network for about 3 years now. To be able to hold space for others in need is my passion. No one should have to face trying times alone, from personal experiences I know that together we can heal.

Project Return Peer Support Network

PRPSN offers peer-to-peer support to help individuals reach their personal goals, such as living independently, going to school, getting a job, having friends and enjoying life in the community, and advancing in their recovery. Each group is individualized and self-directed. Activities and curricula are created by the facilitators and group participants. While some groups direct conversations on specific recovery-based discussions, others focus on physical wellness and its connection to mental wellness, building socialization skills, and the exploration of varying coping methods ranging from arts and music to writing and much, much more!

Basic Rules for Peer Support Groups

  • Observers/Note Takers are not permitted in these groups.
  • To foster safety and comfort for all, we do not discuss religion, politics, or race. We do respect all faiths, cultures, and spiritual beliefs.

  • Please respect each other and silence when not speaking to limit background noise.
  • Be aware of other people who still need to share and retain feedback until all members have checked in. Please limit check-in to 2-3 minutes.
  • This is a safe space for everyone to share their thoughts and feelings, so there is no judgment.
  • Please do not talk about specific medications.
  • Please be mindful of the words/language we use. Don't point profanities at others.
