About this meeting
The holidays can leave us feeling drained, overwhelmed, or out of balance, and for many, grief or loneliness may linger. Now that the hustle and bustle is over, it’s time to focus on our well-being and renewal. In this group, we’ll explore ways to restore our energy, process emotions, and create space for relaxation, reflection, and connection. Together, we’ll share tools for grounding, rejuvenating, and finding peace after the holiday whirlwind. Whether you’re seeking gentle movement, stress relief, or emotional processing, this is a space to care for your nervous system, nurture your well-being, and find calm as we settle into the new year.
About the host
Greetings, I’m Jenn J. (she/they), a Peer Supporter, Certified Eating Disorder Recovery Coach, Grief Coach, Death Midwife, and Accessible Yoga Teacher. As a disabled, neurodivergent member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, my lived experiences shape my approach to supporting others.
I’ve survived childhood trauma, intimate partner violence, and cancer, and I continue to navigate chronic illness and multiple disabilities. I also have lived experience with eating disorders, substance use, and madness. My lived & lived experience fuel my commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.
I create a space where others are seen, heard, and honored. My practice, grounded in liberatory harm reduction, disability justice, and Mad Liberation, ensures inclusive and accessible support tailored to each person’s needs.
Motivation for help
My motivation to help comes from my own journey through disabilities, chronic pain, mental health struggles, substance use, eating disorders, and trauma. These experiences have shaped my understanding and passion for supporting others. I believe, as the quote goes, “If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time; but if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.” I’m here because I know our paths to healing are intertwined. Let’s join forces, drawing on mutual support and shared experiences to empower and transform our lives together.
