About this meeting
Soul Care for Women© is a supportive community for women seeking a safe space to openly share how their life with God and their Christian faith provide strength, comfort, and guidance amid life's challenges. We are more than a supportive group. We are a community that goes deep together, intentionally seeking God's presence as we process life's difficulties, painful feelings, joys, and new possibilities. Our hope is grounded in trust in Jesus Christ ~ God's way to salvation and the fullness of life. Here you will learn ancient Christian spiritual practices and social and emotional tools that help you listen intentionally to God's spirit and receive fresh wisdom. When our souls are healthy, we can surrender everything to God and rest in his peace. These practices are designed for use both during our sessions and for personal growth and reflection between meetings. © Soul Care for Women© is a biblically based Christian spiritual self-care ministry created by Madonna A., Rev., CSD, Chaplain, CADC, CPSS, Clinical Therapeutic Musician© What to Expect: Prayer, meditation on Scripture and ancient Christian spiritual practices, timed writing practice, carrying each other’s burdens in, and heartfelt and prayerful support and community. About the host
Blessings of deep peace be with you. I'm grateful you are here. I am Madonna ~ mother, grandmother, teacher of beautiful things, encourager of spirit, story keeper, companion, and someone who has known both the unendurable and the quiet turn toward joy. " … The unendurable is the beginning of the curve of joy.” I have spent many years with people carrying more than they believed they could, enduring the quiet exhaustion of simply trying to stay well. I am here as a peer who has walked the dark edges of sorrow and encountered sweet mercy. I have learned that healing often begins the moment someone’s story is met with kindness and belief. I hope to see you soon in my groups and in specialized one-to-one care and support. If you would like a safe, confidential place to meet for specialized one-to-one support, I am accepting new connections. Please request to be added as a contact using the “Connect” button, and we can begin the conversation your soul has been yearning for. We can begin exactly where you are, at the pace your heart can hold. I know how heavy life can feel, and you don't have to face life's edges alone. We are held, even when we cannot feel it. I walk this path as a believer who trusts the Light that dispels all darkness, knowing that Light arrives in beautiful, unexpected ways. The compassionate spiritual care I provide supports spiritual growth through faith-rooted soul care, recognizing that spiritual abuse and church hurt are very real for many. I am a Messianic Christian, coming from a long line of Indigenous healers with a living trust in our Creator, Sustainer, and Healer. “What delight comes to the one who follows God's ways.” Deep peace, Madonna *Credentials: Chaplain, Rev, M.Div., CSD, CADC, CPSS Clinical Therapeutic Musician Certified Practitioner of the Social/Emotional Arts *Where you will find me: One-to-One Peer Support: Scheduling Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm EST. *Offerings: Soul Care for Women There's Gold in Your Story Writing Group The Gathering Mindfulness for Resiliency Monday Morning Christian Meditation for CPSSs Plumbline Collective Spiritual Direction Life Coaching
Motivation for help
I have been to the dark edges of deep sorrow and pain, and I have been brought to a sacred garden of joy and peace. My life is a story full of hope on this journey, and I’ve found that there is healing in the sharing our stories, more importantly, having our stories witnessed and believed is when the power of healing begins to arrive.
