About this meeting
Living with an ADHD brain can be exhausting, especially in a world built for neurotypicals. This online Adult ADHD support group is a welcoming space to connect with adults who actually understand the perils of executive function, burnout, masking, sensory overload, and emotional regulation.
Join us to swap real-world survival strategies, drop the mask, conquer time management, reduce shame, and build accountability against procrastination... while, hopefully, managing to stay on topic.
In our hour together, we'll share the workarounds and coping skills that actually get us through the week, all while laughing at our collective side quests. Whether you want to vent, learn, ask for advice, or just sit back and listen, there is zero pressure here. Bring your fidgets!
Open to newly diagnosed adults, those exploring the possibility of ADHD or self-identified, and long-diagnosed adults alike.
About the host
My brain's… a lot. If yours is too, you're in good company!
At my core, I'm a punkish creative & introspective nerd type. Hence why I get along with misfits so well. But I've spent most of my life feeling out of step—too much, not enough, and under a dark cloud I couldn't name. In my 30s I discovered I'm autistic with a side helping of ADHD. That was on top of a long history of anxiety, anorexia, trauma, and depression telling me I'm garbage. Footnote: I'm not, and you're probably not either.
Life's thrown me its share of UGH and I've spent a lot of time learning to stop hating my brain. Still kind of a love/hate relationship, actually. But progress is progress.
On paper, I’m a Certified Peer Support Specialist with ongoing training and all that. In practice, I’m just someone who’s been through a lot of the same mental health mess and sits in it with you.
Motivation for help
I needed support once, and no one was there. I never want anyone to feel as alone as I was. That's it. I want to shrink down the scariness we all face and remind people they're not as isolated in those feelings as they think.
All the years I lost to depression and self-destruction—I can't get those back. But I can make them mean something by showing up for people going through their own version of it.
I'm in your corner. Because, damn, somebody has to be.

HeyPeers Certified meetings are facilitated by Group Leaders who have lived experience with the topic of the meeting they are facilitating. They have completed training, passed exams and have met other requirements in their state to become cerified. Some of our CPSs are also nationally certified and most have other credentials as well. Most HeyPeers Certifed meetings are 60 minutes in length and include a discussion of helpful tips and techniques.
