About the host
Thanks to support groups, I have learned to be in the moment. This was not a quick or easy way of being for me to adapt to. Now, I effectively learn from yesterday and hope for tomorrow … still, I live in today! Because of others who have given their time, participated in groups, shared successes AND failures, I have found my path to peace from my heart, in my mind and then through my behavior. I am a caregiver and through life I have cared for several people at different times with physical conditions and/or severe mental illnesses. I find it an honor and know now to start with self-care and gratitude. Respect, love and understanding (add a splash of humor) is how I would like to be cared for, should I need it, therefore I give it :) Liberally, I aim to listen, tell what I have learned, continue to learn and celebrate tiny accomplishments plus huge successes with YOU!
