About this meeting
Writing with the Divine Author© is a supportive writing group for Christian writers.
Writing with the Divine Author© was created to help writers connect with God and one another and to build a safe community where they can grow as writers. Together with the Holy Spirit, we focus on God's active presence in our writing as we draw inspiration from the Living Word, authored by Jesus, the Messiah and Son of God.
We will respond to readings by other Christian writers, past and contemporary, and to one another, using the writing practice method developed by Madonna A, the creator and facilitator of this group. We will have the opportunity to share our writing during the meeting, if we wish.
Sharing in this prayerful, creative spiritual writing practice strengthens discernment, helps you gain a godly perspective through God’s Word, and develops a vision of God’s presence in your life story.

Writing with the Divine Author© support group is a safe, confidential space where we encourage, inspire, and pray for one another. We offer feedback only if a writer requests it. We may respond to a piece of writing based on how it touched us personally.

I am Madonna ~ mother, grandmother, teacher of beautiful things, encourager of spirit, story keeper, companion, and someone who has known both the unendurable and the quiet turn toward joy. " … The unendurable is the beginning of the curve of joy.”
I have spent many years with people carrying more than they believed they could, enduring the quiet exhaustion of simply trying to stay well. I am here as a peer who has walked the dark edges of sorrow and encountered sweet mercy. I have learned that healing often begins the moment someone’s story is met with kindness and belief. I hope to see you soon in my groups and in specialized one-to-one care and support.

I walk this path as a believer who trusts the Light that dispels all darkness, knowing that Light arrives in beautiful, unexpected ways. The compassionate spiritual care I provide supports spiritual growth through faith-rooted soul care, recognizing that spiritual abuse and church hurt are very real for many. I am a Messianic Christian, coming from a long line of Indigenous healers with a living trust in our Creator, Sustainer, and Healer. “What delight comes to the one who follows God's ways.”

I have been to the dark edges of deep sorrow and pain, and I have been brought to a sacred garden of joy and peace. My life is a story full of hope on this journey, and I’ve found that there is healing in the sharing our stories, more importantly, having our stories witnessed and believed is when the power of healing begins to arrive.
