Biography
I have 7 years experience as a CA Medi-Cal Certified Peer Support Specialist & Family Support Specialist most of which was for NAMI San Diego. I’ve worked in both a county psychiatric hospital and in the community. I’m also a NAMI Family Support Group Facilitator as I have an adult daughter who also lives with mental health challenges and a Certified W.R.A.P Facilitator. CA CAADE Registered SubstanceUse Counselor. I currently work for Soluna App a state of CA and PA mental health support for youth. Support is my life’s passion.

I live with Major Depressive Disorder. I have maintained my mental health wellness and have been stable for the past seven years while providing peer support services to others. I engage in self-care activities on most days and realize the importance of self-care in my recovery.My Motivation To Help
I myself was admitted to a psychiatric hospital and received wonderful care from the entire team and staff and this inspired me to provide excellent peer support services. By nature I’m a helper and have been in helper positions such as a CNA for home health care and an adult with disabilities support provider for Easter Seals years ago.My Chatrooms
