About Sadeja

Hey everyone, I’m Sadeja Divine! My friends would say I’m the outgoing, high-energy one who’s always up for a new adventure—and they’re not wrong. I’m passionate about learning, growing, and most of all, helping others. Gratitude is my daily practice and my mindset—it keeps me grounded no matter what life throws my way. After facing a life-changing diagnosis, I took time to reset and reimagine what living fully really means. Now, I’m on a mission to inform, inspire, and empower others who are navigating their own challenges. Whether it’s through real talk, shared experiences, or just someone to listen. I’m here to show that there’s always a way forward—and always a reason to hope. Let’s connect, grow, and make an impact together.

My Recovery Story

I had to learn that recovery was not a magic pill- It would take experience, effort, energy, and a drive to want better. In my recovery, three things have helped me tremendously. My support system consisted of people who genuinely wanted the best for me—maintaining my physical health, praying, meditating, practicing gratitude, and movement. As well as taking things one moment at a time-knowing that I don't have control over everything and that's ok. Knowing that what works for one season of my life can change, and remembering, recovery is like a puzzle and not a linear road, this helps to keep me joyful and healthy.

My Motivation To Help

You are not alone. When I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2023, I quickly realized how crucial it is to have access to real support, community, and resources. Through my healing journey, I discovered the power of sharing my story—not only to process my own experiences, but to uplift and encourage others walking a similar path. That passion led me to explore new ways to connect, speak out, and create space for healing. One of those spaces is Next Gen NAMI—a support group created specifically for young adults aged 18–30 who are navigating mental health challenges or simply seeking connection and community. Whether you’ve received a diagnosis or not, you are welcome here. This group is about support, not labels. It’s about helping each other not just survive—but recover, grow, and thrive.
