Hi, I’m Noni. Through Unfiltered & Understood (U_n_U), I offer peer support that cuts through clinical jargon and gives you space to just be yourself. As a certified MHPS and RSPS, I walk alongside you through mental health hurdles and recovery ups and downs. No guilt, no shame, and no lectures—just honest peer-to-peer connection where your voice is heard and respected.
My Recovery Story
- My recovery path has been built through treatment, SMART Recovery tools, and the power of peer connection. - Today, my life is very stable, though I stay mindful and keep an eye out for warning signs or old habits that could trip me up. - Quality of life for me means living in alignment with my values: staying content in my recovery, accepting myself as I am, and being truly present for my loved ones. Outside of peer work, you’ll find me catching live music shows and going on outdoor adventures with my wife.
My Motivation To Help
Having been through significant struggles myself, I bring genuine lived experience with mental health, substance use, and behavioral addictions. I don't believe in telling people how to live or handing out rigid formulas. My goal is to back you up, listen, and support you in building the self-directed life you want for yourself.
