About the host
Greetings, I'm Jenn J. (she/they), a Peer Recovery Support Specialist and fellow traveler on the path to healing. My own lived experiences have fueled my passion for guiding others through their unique journeys. Together, let's navigate this journey towards well-being. As a disabled, neurodivergent individual, and a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, I've navigated the intricate layers of these identities. My life story is marked by a mosaic of experiences, from grappling with chronic illness and pain to confronting mental health challenges, trauma, domestic violence, substance use, eating disorders, and self-injury. Yet, amidst these challenges, I've discovered the strength to navigate them. I understand the struggle, the setbacks, and the reality of the journey. I'm here to share the genuine ups and downs, acknowledging that healing is a process with its own pace. Let's embark on this journey together—a journey of acceptance, self-discovery, and the promise of a tomorrow shaped by authenticity and understanding.
Motivation for help
My motivation to help is deeply personal, born from my own journey of navigating challenges like disabilities, chronic pain, mental health struggles, substance use, eating disorders, and trauma. These experiences have given me profound insights, driving my desire to be a guiding light for others on their paths to recovery and transformation. I firmly believe in the power of mutual support and shared experiences, and I aspire to offer a steadfast presence, professional expertise, and a commitment to helping others flourish in their unique stories.

JennJ usually runs a peaceful space but tonight was out of control because one self absorbed person wouldn't stop talking [about herself].
