About Amber

Hi, I’m Amber and Kentucky-certified peer support specialist with a background and DSP, also a certified CSA. I have a background in trauma-informed behavioral health work. I’ve spent years supporting individuals through recovery, crisis stabilization, emotional regulation, and the everyday challenges that come with rebuilding a life after trauma. My approach blends compassion, structure and practical skills that helps people feel grounded, understood, and capable of moving forward. My work is rooted in lived experience, professional training, and a deep belief in the power of connection. I specialize in supporting adults navigating trauma, stress, burnout, recovery and major life transitions. Whether we’re working one-on-one or in a group, my goal is to crest a space where you feel safe, respected, and empowered to explore what healing looks like for you. I bring a clam, steady presence, a strengths-based mindset, and a commitment to meeting people exactly where they are.If you’re looking for support that is real, relatable, and grounded in both experiences and evident based practices, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My Recovery Story

When I was younger, I struggle with severe eating disorder and that experience shaped a lot of how I understand recovery today. I also grew up around friends who were dealing with addiction so I saw firsthand how complicated and painful those battles can be. Those experiences taught me a lot about resilience compassion and how important it is to have support during difficult times my own recovery has been a very long process of learning healthy ways to cope building, self-awareness and finding stability today. My quality of life is much stronger and I’m able to take care of myself in ways, I couldn’t before physically and mentally I have A clear sense of boundaries, balance, and what I need to stay well these experience motivate me to help others because I understand how powerful it can be when someone feels seen supported, and that they’re not alone

My Motivation To Help

My motivation to help comes from a genuine belief that people deserve support, understanding, and someone in the corner during difficult moments. I’ve seen how much of a difference it makes when someone feels heard and treated with dignity, and that inspires me to show up with compassion and patience. My training in many areas has strengthen that motivation by giving me the tools to support others in a trauma informed respectful way. helping others isn’t just some thing I do it’s something that feels meaningful and aligned with who I am.
