I am a recovered meth addict who also struggled with depression and mental health issues. I live in the woods in Wyoming and I love outdoor/survival situations. I am 9 years clean from meth and two years in recovery for my mental health. I am married and have five children and two granddaughters. I believe that everyone can heal from traumas and addiction and I want to help those that are wanting a different way of life. My life for the last 9 years has been amazing and crazy but so much better than the 16 years before recovery.

Hello! My name is Haley. I am a 34 year old woman that goes by she/her. As far as my personality, I'm just a big goof ball! My hobbies include drawing, reading, and hiking. I'm the gal that picks up my favorite rocks and sticks when I go hiking, and put them in my car. Ya know, for safe keeping. Ha My favorite movie is a two way tie between Nacho Libre, and Hacksaw Ridge, (because I'm a war history buff.) I'm eager to start my new career in peer support, and can't wait to help.

I’ve lived with medication-resistant Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorder and ADHD for most of my life. A lifelong resident of Oregon, I’ve worked many different jobs including tech and retail. I’ve also dealt with substance addiction and have gratefully found the means to move past it. I find satisfaction in my day to day through acts of service, moments of kindness, and being present for others. Ask me how I'm working to connect peers with each other. :)

I am a Certified Peer Support Specialist and work as a Clinical Crisis Counselor for a Crisis Hotline. I have 29 years' experience, on and off, in the Mental Health field, as a Mental Health Tech, Stress Management Consultant, Case Manager, Peer Support Specialist, and Clinical Crisis Counselor. I have a BS in psychology, Peer Support Specialist certification, and a Crisis Specialist Certification. I'm hoping to finally finish my Master's in Counselor in the future, but until then I'm looking into other certifications, including Grief Counseling. My goal in life has always been to provide support for others suffering similar conditions. I have experienced severe depression, panic attacks, generalized anxiety, suicidal ideations and attempts, severe childhood trauma leading to cPTSD, and grief- especially after the death of my second child. My living child has Down syndrome and autism, so I've got experience with IEPs, PPTs, and DCF and can provide support for parents as well. I also have chronic pain, Interstitial Cystitis, Circadian Rhythm Disorder, Primary Insomnia, Fibromyalgia, and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.

I am a all in one support ranger. I’m a peer advocate, domestic violence , diabetic , 911, LGBTQ , BIPOC, thriving person. I’m passionate about helping others overcome adversity( our inner world pain that projects into the outer). I’m also a strong advocate for social Justice and equity. I chosen this path because I believe that people with lived experience have a unique perspective and can offer valuable support to others who are going through similar challenges. I embrace everything that’s so called negative that have ever happened to me, because it has provided me the navigation to know how to guidance others through darkness back into their light. I know first hand what it feels like to grow up in a society that doesn’t always accept people for who they are, but I’m proud of who I am and I want to help others embrace their identities and their unique Pathway’s; “The what happened”, does not have to define what anyone, however it can build us into our greatness. I am a stand for others and every soul to become emancipation from their societal oppression and be the purpose that we are all assigned in this lifetime.

Certified Peer Supporter

Hi, I’m Kate — a yoga teacher, peer support professional, and advocate for healing through connection, self-awareness, and nervous system-informed care. My work is deeply rooted in lived experience. I navigate chronic illness, dysautonomia, hypermobility, and the realities of learning how to work with my body instead of against it. Through both personal experience and professional support work, I understand the emotional and physical impact that chronic illness, burnout, trauma, and substance use recovery can have on daily life. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with a focus on accessible, intentional movement and creating spaces where people feel safe showing up exactly as they are. My classes emphasize nervous system regulation, gentle strength-building, mindfulness, and sustainable self-care over perfection or performance. In addition to teaching yoga, I work in peer support and recovery spaces supporting individuals navigating substance use recovery, mental health challenges, and life transitions. I believe healing happens in community, and that recovery is not one-size-fits-all. My goal is to help others reconnect with themselves, build trust in their bodies, and create lives they don’t have to constantly recover from.

Hi my Name is Megan I am a state certified peer specialist and have also been a caregiver. Living with a mood disorder can be stressful on top of “regular” life. My goal is to provide support, skills and resources in a safe space for peers. A place they can be heard no matter what stage a peer is in on their journey of life. Community is the heart of healing. We do recover as long as there is hope. “Genius and insanity are closer than they seem, your perspective is the difference between your nightmares and your dreams” IN-Q page 72 from the book Inquire Within
